This document explains the rights you have over your personal data when you use www.bigbeesec.com, operated by BigBeeSec, a unit of Geethanjali Technologies, and how to exercise them. It complements the Privacy Policy. Users in the EU, UK, and California have additional rights described in the GDPR Addendum and the CCPA and CPRA Addendum.
1. Your rights under the DPDP Act, 2023
- Right to access information: obtain a summary of the personal data we process about you and the processing activities.
- Right to correction and erasure: have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected, completed, or updated, and have data erased when it is no longer needed for its purpose.
- Right to grievance redressal: raise concerns with our Grievance Officer and receive a timely response.
- Right to nominate: nominate another individual to exercise your rights in the event of your death or incapacity.
- Right to withdraw consent: where processing is based on consent, withdraw it as easily as it was given.
2. How to exercise your rights
Send a request to privacy@bigbeesec.com or the Grievance Officer in the Grievance Officer Notice. Include enough detail to identify your account and the right you wish to exercise. We may verify your identity before acting, to protect your data.
3. Our response
We will respond within the timelines set by applicable law. If we cannot fully act on a request, we will explain why, for example where a legal obligation requires us to retain certain data. There is normally no charge. We may decline manifestly unfounded or excessive requests, and will explain any such decision.
4. Portability
On request, we provide the personal data you gave us in a structured, commonly used format where technically feasible. Account data can also be exported during offboarding.
5. Complaints
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may escalate to the Data Protection Board of India, or to the relevant supervisory authority in your jurisdiction.
