Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of www.bigbeesec.com and related services (the "Platform") operated by BigBeeSec, a unit of Geethanjali Technologies ("BigBeeSec", "we", "us", "our"). By creating an account, accepting these Terms during registration, or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
1. Eligibility and accounts
1.1 The Platform is offered to college students and enthusiasts through verified institutional partnerships. Access generally requires a verified institutional email address. Some areas require that your institution has an active arrangement with BigBeeSec.
1.2 You must provide accurate registration information and keep it current. You are responsible for all activity under your account and for keeping your credentials confidential. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use.
1.3 You may use the Platform only if you can form a binding contract under applicable law. If you are below 18, you may use the Platform only with verifiable consent from a parent or lawful guardian.
2. Acceptable use
2.1 BigBeeSec teaches offensive and defensive cybersecurity. The skills and materials are provided for lawful, educational, and authorised purposes only. You agree to the Acceptable Use Policy and the Responsible Disclosure Policy, which are incorporated into these Terms.
2.2 You must not use any technique, tool, or knowledge gained from the Platform to access, test, attack, or disrupt any system, network, or data without clear, documented authorisation from the owner. Unauthorised activity may be a criminal offence under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and other laws.
2.3 You must not misuse the Platform itself, including by attempting to breach its security, scrape it at scale, interfere with other users, upload malware, or submit content that is unlawful, infringing, or abusive.
3. Hands-on labs
The hands-on lab environment is a separate application that the Platform links to. Lab exercises are sandboxed for training. You must operate only within the assigned lab scope and must not pivot to systems outside that scope. Additional lab rules may apply and form part of these Terms when you access the labs.
4. Content and intellectual property
4.1 Our content. The Platform, including its courses, articles, videos, audio, software, design, the BigBeeSec name and mascot, and all related intellectual property, is owned by Geethanjali Technologies or its licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access the content for your own learning. You may not copy, redistribute, resell, or create derivative works except as expressly permitted.
4.2 Your content. You retain ownership of content you submit, such as resumes, comments, and testimonials. You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, and use that content to operate and promote the Platform, consistent with the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to submit it.
4.3 Moderation. We may review, moderate, or remove user content that violates these Terms, with or without notice.
5. Fees, plans, and payment
Where the Platform offers paid plans, pricing is shown in Indian Rupees and is governed by the published plan terms and the Refund and Cancellation Policy. Institutions may purchase access on behalf of their students under a separate written arrangement. Taxes apply as required by law.
6. Privacy
Your use of the Platform is subject to the Privacy Policy, the Cookie Policy, and the Data Retention Policy. By using the Platform you acknowledge those documents.
7. Suspension and termination
7.1 We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if your institution's arrangement ends, or if required by law or to protect the Platform or its users.
7.2 You may stop using the Platform at any time and request account deletion as described in the Privacy Policy. Offboarding is handled as set out in our onboarding and offboarding process.
7.3 Provisions that by their nature should survive termination, including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law, survive.
8. Disclaimers
The Platform and its educational content are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that the content is suitable for any particular purpose. 9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, BigBeeSec and Geethanjali Technologies are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Platform. Our aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid to us for the Platform in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or, where no fee was paid, to a nominal sum. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
10. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless BigBeeSec, Geethanjali Technologies, and their personnel from claims, damages, and expenses arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Platform, including any unauthorised security activity you conduct.
11. Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms. We will post the updated version with a new "Last updated" date and, for material changes, provide notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable law, the courts at Hyderabad, India have exclusive jurisdiction, and the parties may first attempt to resolve disputes amicably and through arbitration if separately agreed. Nothing affects mandatory consumer protections available to you.
